Anderson opts for new lifestyle

<b><b>John Anderson set up Lifestyle, the Taylor Woodrow brand for the over-50s, three years ago. He considers it his baby. But following the restructuring of Lifestyle in the wake of Taywood&amp;’s buyout of Bryant last year, he has decided to move on. Allison Heller talks to Anderson about his legacy to those who will now be taking the brand forward, and his plans for the future</b></b><br><b>Sitting back in an armchair in the cosy residents&amp;’ lounge room of the age-exclusive over-60s Park View development in Acton, west London, Lifestyle md John Anderson is relaxed and philosophical. Which is admirable considering the fact that he has just made a potentially life-changing decision to resign and step out into the unknown following the restructure and rapid nationwide expansion of the Lifestyle brand post Bryant-buyout. </b><br><b>There has clearly been a very personal aspect to the restructure for Anderson, since Lifestyle was his brainchild and has been his baby for three years now. His obvious commitment to the concept has no doubt made the decision to let go a difficult one, but his new position as &amp;“overriding champion&amp;” of the brand and md responsible for overseeing its expansion was no longer where his heart lay. …
