Crest warns on profit and revises completions

Crest Nicholson has revised down its full-year completions and is expecting a loss before earnings of around £10 million, as it experiences “more subdued than expected” market conditions and protracted talks with lenders. Issuing a trading update today (September 3), the housebuilder said it expected its completions to be in the range of 1,350 to 1,400 after previous guidance of 1,400 to 1,500 homes.
