Contortionists crammed into a miniature home in London’s Leicester Square to highlight the overcrowded conditions in which 900,000 children in England are forced to grow up as a result of the capital’s housing crisis.<br>Housing charity Shelter organised the stunt as part of its campaign to update the statutory definition of overcrowding, not changed since 1935, and gain a commitment from government to build more family sized social rented homes.<br>Shelter is also aiming to end child homelessness with its Raise the Roof campaign.<br>Housebuilders can help by advertising on <a href='\"http://www.whathouse.co.uk/\"'>http://www.whathouse.co.uk/</a>. The website will donate 40% of this revenue to the campaign.
