Dave Baker, ceo of Robust Details Ltd, has been awarded an honorary doctorate from Edinburgh Napier University for his major contribution to house construction methodology. The robust details scheme helps developers comply with sound insulation standards.<br> <br> "The scheme has significantly changed the way housebuilders, their suppliers and building control bodies approach regulatory compliance," said RDL chairman Mike Freshney.
