Former Housebuilder Publications chairman and industry stalwart Graham Pye has died after a short illness. Graham was a well known figure throughout the industry. He was chairman and md of the Pye Group of companies based in Oxfordshire which built in the surrounding counties but also as far afield as Canada. Graham was twice president of the Home Builders Federation as well as a council member and director of NHBC. He was chairman of the Housing Design Awards committee and past president of the European housebuilder organisation UEPC. He was an Honorary Fellow at University College and Harris Manchester College, Oxford and was a deputy lieutenant for Oxfordshire. Graham had a passion for fine wine and excellent music and among his other interests were skiing, scuba diving and sailing. Graham is survived by his wife Yvonne. <br>
