Housebuilder is to partner Mclean Events on a new and innovative networking event for the housebuilding industry. Called bidec, the event will bring together the supply chain of the industry with the procurement side of the business for a programme of personal pre-arranged meetings, without the need for a costly and time consuming exhibition.<br> <br> The event, which will take place at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel from November 29 to December 1, is designed to allow delegates to build new working relationships in relaxed but businesslike surroundings, away from the normal office environment. A process of pre-requesting 20 minute appointments, one month out, results in each company having a schedule of meetings prior to the event, knowing exactly who they will meet, where and at what time. <br> <br> Housebuilders will be allocated fully serviced meeting facilities at the hotel, where all meetings will take place, while suppliers can display their products in a showcase area adjacent to the main meeting room and used for lunch and refreshments.
