Housing Today magazine goes under

A failure to attract job advertisements has forced Housing Today to fold. The weekly magazine jointly published by the National Housing Federation and the media group CMPi has a circulation of 30,000. Staff were told that the current issue of the magazine, founded in 1996, would be the last. Jim Coulter, the chief executive of the NHF, said: "Housing Today added to the quality of the trade press coverage in our sector with good news and feature articles. It will be missed for those qualities but the federation understands and supports the CMPi commercial decision." (Guardian)
