McCarthy &amp;&amp; Stone is hopeful that it will receive detailed planning permission for the construction of 80 sheltered flats in Folkestone; the developer will be facilitating all the building work. <p></p><p>Applications to tender have been invited for a £59 million scheme in Bromley. The project consists of refurbishment of 28,444 properties, and involves major works to bring the properties up to the governments Decent Homes standard by 2010. </p><p>Taylor Woodrow has submitted plans for the Gobions School in Romford, Essex. The scheme involves demolition of the school followed by the construction of 64 flats with 98 houses. Development Planning Partnership is the planning consultant. </p><p>Kuba Holdings has submitted detailed plans to Thanet Council for the construction of 137 apartments in a fourstorey building. Hume Planning Consultancy is working on the project in Margate. </p><p>Durkan has won a contract to build 24 flats at Block L, Drayton Park, London. The £3 million project is not due to start until later this year. The design team is made up of Denning Male Polisano, MDA Group Ltd and Tully De'Ath. </p><p>Adela Properties has submitted plans for the construction of 51 Flats in Belfast.
