<b>First Base Homes</b> has begun construction of 41 apartments with access, ground floor parking and landscaping at Station Road, Morecambe. Associated works include infrastructure, enabling and site services. Detailed planning permission has been granted by Lancaster city council. Bywater &amp;&amp; Tweedale is the architect on this scheme. <p></p><p><b>Bonusville</b> has applied for outline planning permission from Barnsley Borough Council for the construction of 23 apartments. The site at Brampton Road, Wombwell, Barnsley is expected to cost £1.1 million. Jig Architectural Consultants from Mold has done the design work. </p><p><b>Watkins Jones &amp;&amp; Sons</b> has been appointed for the construction of apartments and retail units at Gorse Stacks in Chester. The £10.7 million scheme involves the construction of three residential developments with 141 apartments and eight retail units at site one; 35 apartments and two retail units on site two and 59 apartments on site three. Hoare Lea &amp;&amp; Partners, Stephenson Bell and Barlows are the design team.
