Industry hits highs on customer satisfaction

Nearly nine out of ten buyers of a new home would recommend their builder to a friend, according to the Home Builders Federation’s latest customer satisfaction survey. <br> <br> The independent survey finds that 88% of buyers are very or fairly satisfied with the overall quality of their new home and that 86% of buyers would recommend their builder to a friend. The HBF says these results match or exceed those in any other industry or sector. <br> <br> “These results are truly outstanding and a testament to the efforts made by our industry to deliver ever increasing satisfaction to new home buyers,” said HBF executive chairman Stewart Baseley. “All the evidence we now have demonstrates categorically that as an industry we are delivering in the overwhelming majority of cases the type of product our customers want, in a manner with which they are satisfied.” <br> <br> Imtiaz Farookhi, ceo of NHBC which supports the survey, said: “I am delighted that the significant improvements achieved last year have been maintained.
