Innovation Awards shortlist announced

The shortlist for the prestigious Housebuilding Innovation Awards has been revealed. Once again the number and quality of the Awards impressed the judging panel which boasts some of the most senior figures in housebuilding. Barratt, Explore Living, Places for People and PRP Architects all boast three nominations each, with Crest Nicholson, Miller, Quintain, Stewart Milne Group and United House each involved in two. Travis Homes and Larkfleet have been nominated for the first time, while Yuill and Midas feature again having tasted success before at the Awards. Once again the battle for the accolade Housing Product of the Year is particularly fierce. Two of the shortlisted companies, Roger Bullivant and First:Utility, have also made the cut for Best low or zero carbon initiative. The Housebuilding Innovation Awards have become the most highly valued in the industry as they are backed by the government and are designed to reward improvement in the key areas of development recognised by government, the industry and customers. <br>
