Consultation on a review of the Code for Sustainable Homes <br> <br> The consultation on the Code for Sustainable Homes and the energy efficiency standard for zero carbon homes closed on March 24. The revision looked at aligning the Code with the updated Part L (see below) and also considered the evolution of the Code as well as how to get customer buy-in to the concept. <br> <br> NEXT KEY DATE: A government response to the Code consultation is expected later in the year<br> <br> Community Infrastructure Levy <br> <br> The regulations for the community infrastructure levy (CIL) came into effect on April 6. At the time of writing, Communities and Local Government (CLG) were expected to publish a guidance note for producing a charging schedule although it will not be a full guidance note.
