Fitting swish new units and appliances in your old home is expensive, time consuming and stressful. Late delivery, damaged goods and poor fitting are potential hazards, so it is little wonder that the prospective buyer is lured by the charm of a brand new kitchen.</b><br> In our features on kitchen appliances (read feature) and kitchen furniture (read feature) we uncover what the customer wants in a new kitchen and which firms are providing it. In appliances there are two camps - those who see the need for top quality fittings whether they are used or not, just to show off to the neighbours; and those who think we should be focussing on smaller appliances as the family size decreases.
