Management shake-up at Barratt

Barratt chairman Charles Toner has announced a shake up in its management structure. Speaking at the housebuilder’s AGM Toner announced that executive directors Steven Boyes, Clive Fenton and Geoff Hester will now report to the group’s board as the respective head’s of the company’s northern and southern operating areas and the Kingsoak brand. The move allows Barratt to promote three divisional mds to regional chairmen. Toner also said that Barratt’s forward sales now stand at £900 million, which is more than 60% of its full year requirement. But he said that the outlook for the market remains unclear. “We are operating on the assumption that the market will remain challenging but are targeting to maintain volumes and are currently achieving sales levels sufficient for us to secure our objectives," he said.
