Persimmon has bought the former Norfolk &amp;&amp; Norwich Hospital in Norwich for redevelopment into 510 apartments and houses. Many of the original hospital buildings will be refurbished while a new high rise apartment block will be built along with 198 three and four storey townhouses and flats.<p></p><p> The firm expects to launch the development in May and will name it Fellowes Plain after William Fellowes, one of the surgeons who founded the hospital in 1771.</p><p> l Persimmon Homes (Midlands) has bought Northamptonshire-based Springfir Estates. This will add around 190 plots to the firm&amp;’s landbank and 510 acres of strategic land.<br> <br> </p><p>A man without a hard hat with blood streaming down his forehead after being hit by a falling brick is among the strong images featured on a new series of safety posters from Lovell. The campaign comprises eight posters spelling out the consequences of failure to follow safety procedures. The images are supported by blunt captions including &amp;“Would you like to tell the family of a workmate that you killed them?&amp;”</p><p></p>
