William Davis Homes has appointed Dan Endersby, formerly of Persimmon, as its first chief operating officer.
The Loughborough-based housebuilder has created the role to help lead its growth plans across the East and West Midlands. Endersby joins the business after six years as managing director of Persimmon North Midlands.
The new coo began his career in housebuilding and construction as a civil engineer. He then held technical director and other senior roles, joining Persimmon North Midlands at the start of 2020.
William Davis said Endersby’s appointment would lend “greater strength” to the team as the company continues to pursue new land opportunities in its region. The housebuilder is currently building new homes across Loughborough, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Warwickshire.
Endersby will also work closely with William Davis’ existing board of directors.
He said: “I’m naturally very pleased to have joined the team at William Davis, who I've admired from afar to this point, working within the industry and treading a similar path in terms of geography of both existing sites and areas of focus.
