Andy Dean

Andy is Head of Housing Development and Sustainability at Lloyds Banking Group, leading the Group's engagement with the home building, affordable housing and sustainability sectors from within its consumer business.

Lloyds Banking Group plays a major role in the UK housing market, supporting homebuyers through one of the country's largest new build mortgage businesses, providing banking and funding to housebuilders and housing associations, investing in residential housing through Lloyds Living, and partnering across the sector to support the delivery of new homes. Andy helps shape the Group's housing and sustainability agenda and its engagement across the sector.

Before joining Lloyds Banking Group in 2024, Andy spent 16 years at Nationwide Building Society. He has almost 20 years' experience across mortgages and housing and previously served on the Management Committee of the Intermediary Mortgage Lenders Association (IMLA).

Outside work, Andy recently co-organised and completed a 472-mile cycle ride from Edinburgh to London, raising more than £26,000 for Crisis and Magic Moments.
