Colin Jones is a Partner and Head of Construction Law at HCR Law. He works across his firm’s platform of 13 offices stretching from East to West, including in Birmingham, Cambridge, Cardiff and the City of London. Colin is both a transactional and contentious construction lawyer, with particular expertise in standard form contracts including the JCT, NEC, FIDIC, ACE and ACA forms. He advises on all aspects of construction law including advising on adjudication, arbitration, court and alternative dispute resolution actions, and also related public procurement and commercial law including advice to UK + European developers, contractors, design + construction professionals, manufacturers, funders and occupiers. His key focus sectors include education, energy and working with construction product suppliers. Colin has expertise in the clean energy and the sustainable construction sector. He is a Council Member of the Cambridge Interact Club, a Society of Construction Law Regional Co-Ordinator, legal adviser to the British Institute of Interior Design, winner of the Cambridgeshire Law Society Achievement Award, and a Governor of St Mary's School, Cambridge
