Manuela has had a varied public sector career to date across both policy and finance professions. She has held various senior roles at HM Treasury on economic policy and public spending, including responsibility for planning and housing. She was previously Strategy Director at a London Borough Council and has also worked as Finance Director for two Whitehall departments. Earlier in her career she worked in the policy unit at 10 Downing Street and as a front-line manager in Jobcentre Plus
