Graduating from the University of Southampton with a degree in Politics and International Relations, Millie’s background is in amplifying the voices of hard-to-reach groups to decision makers, ensuring that the voices of those most in need are heard. Through Just Build Homes she advocates the importance of younger people getting involved in planning, ensuring that those affected by the housing crisis are heard in the planning debate. By engaging supportive voices and generating an evidence base of supportive responses on planning portals, Just Build Homes has helped to get thousands of new homes approved.
Millie is regularly invited to speak about the role of public engagement in planning reform, and was recently shortlisted for the Independent Woman of the Future award for her work in the housing sector.
