Vicky Payne

Vicky Payne is Head of Place and Nature at the Future Homes Hub. She is an experienced planner and urban designer with a background in shaping masterplans, design codes and town centre strategies. Her work has focused on creating places that balance housing growth with quality design, sustainability and the needs of communities.

At the Future Homes Hub Vicky leads work on how new homes and neighbourhoods can respond to challenges around nature recovery, design quality and place making. She will share an update on the organisation’s priorities and achievements over the past year and outline what is planned for the year ahead. Her reflections will consider progress in the context of the first 14 months of the Labour government and explore the opportunities and challenges for housing and place making in the months to come.
