<p>Housebuilders with something to shout about should take note: the annual Housing Design Awards and the Housebuilding Innovation Awards are both now open for entries. The Housing Design Awards – the government’s in partnership with NHBC, RTPI and RIBA – recognise the whole development team: housebuilder, architect, case officer and planning chair. The 60 shortlisted schemes will be invited to Whitehall’s Banqueting House for the presentation on July 19. Entries must be submitted on disk by March 23, and entry forms can be downloaded at <a href='\"http://www.designforhomes.org/hda\"'>www.designforhomes.org/hda</a>. Hosted by Michael Portillo, the awards will be presented at a formal dinner at London’s Millennium Mayfair hotel on November 1. Entries must be submitted by April 27.
