<p>Approvals for home loan mortgages increased slightly during Novem,ber, ccording to Bank of England figures released today (January 4).</p> <p>The number of mortgages approved for home purchases stood at 48,019, marginally higher than the October figure of 47,315, but a fraction below the six month average of 48,145.</p>
