Barbican scheme

<p>United House Developments, previously Modern City Living, is carrying out a series of schemes in London each of which have a “special” aspect to them. These include working in historic Covent Garden, forming a new square – Arundel Square – in Islington and working on Renzo Piano designed units at the Central St Giles project at Tottenham Court Road, alongside the landmark Centre Point building. But arguably the most challenging scheme is that being delivered at London’s prestigious Grade II listed Barbican – in the midst of the MPs, VIPs and influencers who inhabit this controversial but highly successful urban development. And to add to the challenge, the new units are being built on top of the Barbican’s concert hall. </p> <p><strong>Frobisher Crescent</strong> </p> <p>In all 69 units are being built in three floors of Frobisher Crescent in the heart of the Barbican complex. These floors were previously occupied by the City of London Business School but will now house a series of studios, two bed and three bed apartments.
