Barratt Redrow has reported a “resilient performance” since the start of its financial year, with completions guidance for FY 2026 unchanged but partly dependent on the effect of the upcoming Budget.
During the period from June 30 to October 26, the housebuilder’s total completions were 7.9% ahead of the comparable period in 2024 at 3,665.
In its trading update, Barratt Redrow said its net private reservation rate per week in the period was 0.57, slightly down on the 0.59 of last year’s equivalent period. There was no contribution from sales to the private rental sector and other multi-unit sales.
It generated 228 net private reservations - including joint ventures - per week (FY 25: 255), operating from an average of 402 sales outlets – also including JVs - (FY 25: 433).
The company’s forward order book as of October 26 2025 totalled 10,669 homes, a little less than the 10,706 homes of October 27 2024, at a value of £3,281.4 million (October 27 2024: £3,206.0 million).
Barratt Redrow said that, based on the “solid reservation activity” it had seen since the start of its new financial year, it continued to expect to complete between 17,200 and 17,800 …
