Berkeley has appointed Neil Eady as its chief financial officer.
Taking up his role from today (September 29), Eady has been division finance director of Berkeley Capital, one of Berkeley’s London divisions.
He joined the business in 2013, working in a range of finance director roles in the group. He was part of the team that established the St William joint venture in 2014.
Previously to Berkeley, Eady was at Land Securities for ten years, in roles including corporate finance director.
Qualifying as a chartered account at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Eady has 22 years’ experience in the property and development sector.
Rob Perrins, Berkeley’s executive chair, said: “I am delighted to welcome Neil to the board as cfo. In making this appointment, the board considered both internal and external candidates. Neil’s broad experience, both at Berkeley and in his previous career, the relationships he has established and knowledge of our culture and systems make him ideally placed for the role. It also demonstrates the strength and depth at Berkeley.”
