Countryside has been crowned Large housebuilder of the year at the 2017 Housebuilder Awards. The firm also scooped the Best design for three storeys or fewer award.
Telford Homes is the Medium housebuilder of the year, whilst the Small housebuilder accolade was awarded to Beechcroft Developments.
The best housebuilder accolades were announced at the culmination of a night of celebration (November 2nd), hosted by comedian Al Murray in his guise as The Pub Landlord.
More than 500 guests packed the Intercontinental Hotel The O2 in London at the ceremony which also saw Lendlease walk away with the Sustainable housebuilder of the year gong.
There were a wide range of winners on the night with smaller firms faring well. Branley Homes won Best customer satisfaction initiative, Beechcroft won Best retirement scheme and was joint winner of Best refurbishment project with Yogo. Eccleston Homes was joint winner of Best marketing initiative alongside McCarthy & Stone and Hamson Barron Smith took the Best sustainable scheme award.
It was a great night for Telford which won Best design for four storeys or more and Best community initiative.
