<b><b><i>Housebuilder&amp;’s</i>round-up ranges from a Farrell designed village in Manchester to a locally built waterside scheme in Devon</b><br><b></b></b><br><b><br> </b><br><b><b>Taylor Woodrow Capital Developments</b></b><br> Macintosh Village in Manchester is Taylor Woodrow&amp;’s &amp;£130 million mixed use redevelopment which will provide nearly 50,000 square metres of residential accommodation laid out as a mix of 710 apartments, penthouses and live/work units, together with nearly 3,500 square metres of commercial space. <p></p><p> Designed by Terry Farrell &amp;&amp; Partners, it includes the listed Macintosh Mill, which will be refurbished, two 21-storey residential towers designed in scale with the mill building and the &amp;“Green Building&amp;”, an advanced environmental structure (pictured) which will contain 32 private residential apartments in a ten-storey cylindrical &amp;“drum&amp;”, a design which refers back to the original use of the site for a gasometer. </p><p><b>Update:</b> Taylor Woodrow has released 45 one and two bedroom apartments for sale out of the 68 homes within the six-storey Foundry building. Prices range from &amp;£87,000 for a one-bedroom studio apartment up to &amp;£189,500 for a larger two-bedroom home.
