Starting out in 2005, Ecobuild is already, in the words of the Ecobuild team, the “world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment.” Free to registered visitors, Ecobuild is a chance for all those within the housebuilding industry to keep abreast of the latest regulations, brush up on solutions available and make new, important contacts. So what should industry delegates home in on when they visit the threeday event in Earls Court, London, from March 2 – 4? Big exhibitor names such as Rockwool and Finnforest rub shoulders with small new businesses, the latter exhibiting in Ecobuild’s Green Shoots entrepreneur’s zone. There is much to see – over 1,000 exhibitors - but Housbuilder has selected the best of the many on page 34. <br> <br> There are also several first-time events gracing Ecobuild. The Ecobuild Fringe Programme draws together a range of events from exhibitors which include Bioregional’s series of workshops offering up practical solutions to issues which can prevent developments from reaching their sustainable potential.
