English Partnerships review brought forward

The regular review of the role of English Partnerships has been brought forward &amp;“to ensure that its future is given greater clarity and focus&amp;”, according to planning minister Lord Falconer.<p></p><p>The findings of the first stage of the review - fundamentally examining its role - will be complete by the end of the year. </p><p>The second stage, which will deal with the structure, location and skills the organisation may need to deliver any new remit, is expected to be complete by Easter 2002.</p><p>English Partnerships welcomed the decision to have an early review, saying that this was natural given the reorganisation of departmental responsibilities following the election and the increasing importance of regeneration projects..</p><p><br> </p><p><b><b>Letters...</b><br><b></b><b>Sir</b></b><br><b> Your Greenfield diary article in your September edition states that Bellway takes 77 days to settle our bills.
