Green schemes set the standard

Building new homes in tight corners is difficult as the best of times, but to achieve this result, in a small and very sensitive historic town, is little short of brilliant. By coincidence I know Wye, in Kent, extremely well - I spent three years there as a student in the 60s. If anyone had told me that substantial new-build could be slotted into the fabric of this picture-postcard place, provide homes for the elderly, and actually enhance its surroundings, I would have been extremely sceptical.
