<b>Barham to bow out?</b><br> With all eyes focussed on the immediate future of Wilcon, all the gossip about housebuilders in the know in La Capanna in downtown Cobham is actually aimed in another direction. James Barham, who has taken Rialto to remarkable heights with the lowest of low profiles, could be only a few weeks away from collecting rather a large cheque from Wilson Bowden and heading off into a golden retirement.<p></p><p> The story has much to commend it. Barham can&’t go on forever, and a deal would explain Rialto&’s recent sale of a large Wandsworth site to St George, as a means of tidying up its portfolio.</p><p> Wilson Bowden, for its part, invariably gets a good deal by chasing the targets which others don&’t realise are available.
