<b>Nigel Styles, managing director of South East Living, takes the Housebuilder Hot Seat and reveals an </b><br><b> expensive habit of ruining perfectly good suits</b><br><b>Married Family?</b><br> Two daughters, Molly eight and Ella 11.<p></p><p><b><b>First job ever? </b></b><br> A trainee accountant for a local authority. This was the most boring job I have ever had, working in an environment without any drive or enthusiasm.</p><p><b><b>First job in the industry?</b></b><br> My first job in the industry was as a trainee land negotiator for Sterling Homes, responsible for negotiating visibility splays, site lines etc. One of my first jobs was to source land with potential for development. In response to an advertisement placed in the local paper I arranged to meet a farmer in Sevenoaks. Suited and booted I met the farmer who took me by quad bike to see the land he no longer used. With me on the back, the farmer in the middle and his dog licking my ear we made our way to a field in the middle of nowhere which had no development potential whatsoever.
