Bellway was crowned Large Housebuilder of the Year at The Housebuilder Awards 2025 last night, as the industry united to celebrate the best in the UK new homes sector.
Bellway, Britain’s sixth biggest housebuilder according to the latest Housing Market Intelligence Report, impressed across five categories. It was winner of both the Best sustainability initiative award for its Builds homes of the future today programme, and the Best design for four storeys or more award for Fielders Quarter West Circus, Barking.
It was a finalist in three categories – Best regeneration initiative for St George’s Park, Hornchurch, Best design for three storeys or fewer for Springstead Village, Cambridge and Charlotte Benson, Bellway’s trainee quantity surveyor, featured as a Housebuilder Star finalist.
The Housebuilder Awards host was Rylan. The event was attended by 750 guests at The InterContinental London - The O2.
Housing association Peabody was hailed Medium housebuilder of the year. It scooped the Best marketing initiative award for The Lumiere Edition, New Mansion Square, Battersea. And its Morpeth Road, Hackney scheme was joint winner in the Best design for three storeys or fewer category.
