Housing demand and supply falls in October - RICS

<p>New buyer enquiries dropped for the fifth consecutive month during October according to the leatest RICS housing market survey.</p> <p>And instructions to the market, which have been rising more or less since July last year, saw a sharp dip in October - the first monrhly drop since the bad weather in January.</p> <p>The RICS blamed continued mortgage challenges and a cautious attitude for the drop in new enquiries. Survey respondents say that many buyers are indicating that they are going to wait until the Spring to make a decision on moving or not.</p>
