Bewley Homes has submitted plans for two lots of 14 houses in Reading. The developments at Reading Road, Lower Basildon and Broad Lane, Upper Bucklebury were submitted to West Berkshire planning department in March. Works are expected to start in the autumn.<p></p><p>Detailed plans have been submitted for the complete refurbishment of 144 two-bedroom split level double aspect flats, to form stylish contemporary flats. Work will include over cladding to the building and the construction of five additional floors to provide an additional 14 two-bedroom flats at Aragon Tower in Deptford. The &£3 million development, for Berkeley Homes (Eastern), is due to start on site in autumn 2003. </p><p>The Higgins Group has recently submitted a revised detailed planning application for a development of 50 houses and flats after the prior application was refused in August, 2002. The scheme comprises the construction of 12 houses and 38 flats at Fairfax Drive, Westcliff-On-Sea in Essex. </p><p>Waveney Council has given the go-ahead for the construction of 62 houses at Heritage Green, Kessingland in Lowestoft.
