<b><b>Obituary</b></b><br> Bob Willan, who was president of the House Builders Federation in 1975 and president of the National Federation of Building Trades Employers in 1976, passed away last month. He was a major industry figure and boss of Willan Developments, which now passes into the hands of his son. He also leaves a daughter.<p></p><p><b><b>Door association</b></b><br> A new trade association has been formed to represent UK manufacturers of composite doors and to ensure that specifiers receive the highest standards of construction, materials and customer service. Founder members of the Association of Composite Door Manufactures include HM Doors, IG and Premdor.</p><p><b><b>Meadgate sold</b></b><br> Development funder the Lexington Group has sold Meadgate Homes as part of its strategy to focus on its rapidly growing finance business. </p><p><br> </p><p></p>
