<b>AGM NOTICE</b><p></p><p> NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the New Homes Marketing Board (&amp;“the Board&amp;”) will be held at 12.30pm on November 27 2002 at 56-64 Leonard Street, London EC2A 4JX for the purpose of approving the audited accounts of the Board to December 2001 and to ratify past decisions and actions of the Trustees, the Management Committee and others. Any member wishing to attend the Annual General Meeting is requested to notify the director of corporate services, Rachel Done, in writing at least ten days before the date of the meeting.</p><p><b></b></p><p><b> HBF stalwart dies</b></p><p> Former HBF south east regional manager John Thurman died suddenly at home last month. He was 62. John worked for the HBF for many years before retiring through ill-health in 1996. However his recovery saw him back at the HBF offices helping out the London team and he was still working at Leonard Street up until his untimely death.</p><p> A keen cyclist, John undertook a 500km bike ride in Australia in 1998 in aid of Mencap, and this summer was a volunteer at the Manchester Commonwealth Games. </p><p><b></b></p><p><b> NHBC appointment</b></p><p> NHBC&amp;’s principal engineer, John Haynes, has been appointed as the new …
