NHBC has launched what it describes as its “biggest ever” entry-level recruitment drive, offering 30 trainee roles around the UK and creating new pathways into the business.
The new home warranty and insurance provider said it had on offer permanent job opportunities for people of all backgrounds “to begin a rewarding career in the housebuilding industry”.
Roles available include trainee building inspector, trainee building surveyor, trainee construction quality analyst and trainee technical building consultant.
NHBC said its structured training and expert mentoring would support trainees in discovering a long and rewarding career, with professional accreditation and formal qualifications including BSc (Hons) available, depending on the role.
“NHBC offers clear pathways to progress and those joining the company will have the chance to shape the future of housebuilding while developing their professional expertise,” the organisation stated.
It added that the drive was part of its commitment to addressing the industry’s skills shortage, supporting the government’s goal to build 1.5 million new homes.
