NHBC is supporting a webinar from the Association for Rental Living (ARL), set to examine the processes and challenges with unlocking brownfield sites for mixed tenure schemes.
Attendees of the webinar, Unlocking brownfield sites for mixed tenure development, will hear from and be able to put questions to experts from NHBC and the rental living sector, including NHBC’s Land Quality Service. Speakers will examine how complex sites are being turned into viable Build to Rent (BTR) developments.
The event, taking place on September 23, is aimed at developers, investors, operators and consultants in BTR, with the event charting the journey from pre-acquisition assessment to post-acquisition viability, “highlighting critical considerations and pitfalls to avoid,” NHBC said.
It also said that the hour-long webinar would be suitable for those dealing with constrained sites, repurposing opportunities or seeking practical guidance on land viability and delivery.
Speakers also include rental property developer Placefirst and master developer Urban&Civic. They will take part in the varied agenda, covering the political landscape, sector collaboration and the hurdles the industry faces, with real life case studies used to show how land can be unlocked.
