The first week in October sees the start of CITB&’s National Construction Week, a campaign designed to showcase the best the industry has to offer. In the frame will be landmark architecture, civil engineering successes such as the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, millennium projects, construction training and much more. So how will housebuilders fare under the spotlight?</b><br><b><b>massive strides</b></b><br> I spoke to Paul Bower project director for the campaign. For a marketing man who was one time manager of glam rock bands ABC and the Human League, Bower is fully au fait with construction. He can sense a challenge. &“Housebuilding hasn&’t always had the best profile.
