New guidance designed to help developers increase the use of recycled materials has been issued by the government-backed Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP). The guidance, which helps identify opportunities for recycling in design, procurement and construction stages, has been developed in response to a recommendation of the Sustainable Buildings Task Group, which has set a requirement for recycled materials to make up 10% of the value of all materials on a construction project.
