Repairs guide for housebuilders

NHBC Foundation has launched a best practice guide for housebuilders on how to better understand the management of post-completion repairs. <br> <br> The Foundation’s research revealed that housebuilders were “making great efforts” to promptly carry out repairs, but were making less effort to understand why faults were occurring in the first instance and preventing them happening again. <br> <br> The publication entitled Management of post completion repairs – a best practice guide for home builders, highlights three key areas that influence customer satisfaction – quality, information and aesthetics. It also identifies key areas that housebuilders need to address, including explaining before legal completion what the housebuilder is or is not responsible for repairing.<br> <br>
