Shortlist announced for the Housebuilder Awards 2010

Barratt Developments leads the way in the shortlists for this yearís Housebuilder Awards with three nominations in the best customer satisfaction, best marketing and best design categories. <br> <br> Galliford Try and its subsidiary Linden both have two nominations, as do Miller, Persimmon, Berkeley, PRP Architects and Northern Irish firm Carvill. <br> Gentoo, Places for People, Stewart Milne Homes and East Thames Group all feature on the shortlist for the second year running while the likes of Joseph Rowntree, Kier Partnership, A2 Dominion Group, The Hyde Group and Bett Homes make the cut for the first time. <br> <br> A record number of entries were received for this year’s Housebuilder Awards which have established themselves over five years as the awards to win to demonstrate innovation, sustainability credentials, customer care and marketing and design excellence. <br> <br> The awards are organised by Housebuilder and the Home Builders Federation in association with NHBC. <br> <br> Despite the difficulties in the market housebuilders and companies involved in the industry demonstrated through their entries the range of new ideas and excellence in housebuilding today. <br> <br> Once again the product category looks particularly fiercely contested.
