<br/> Linden Homes and Network Rail’s development plans for St Albans station is the first mixed use scheme for a transport interchange. Designed by John Thompson &amp;&amp; Partners, the 3.5ha scheme will provide 362 apartments, including 30% affordable, in an eight-story residential tower along with residential and commuter car parking, commercial premises and refurbished station facilities. <p></p><p>Linden chief exec Philip Davies said: “The project is the first of its kind between a residential developer and a transport provider and shows the way forward for commuter schemes of the future.”</p>
