<b><b>Allison Heller joined a group of UK housebuilders on an eye-opening trip to experience the International Builders&amp;’ Show in Atlanta and visit some typical Georgia developments. They found a booming market, an industry full of pride and some glorious homes....but not absolute perfection</b></b><br><b>Emotions were running high for the 35,000-strong crowd gathered at the opening of the 58th annual International Builders&amp;’ Show in Atlanta, Georgia. Philips Arena played host to a flags-a-flying, fireworks-a-firing military parade and ice-skating spectacular, topped off with the unveiling of a giant Statue of Liberty, and sufficient nationalist song-singing to rival any Olympic opening ceremony. And all this for a building show?</b><br><b>The hordes who head for Interbuild this summer will expect no more than a low-key speech by a government minister and a smattering of applause.
