I ask this in the light of a couple of newspaper articles which recently attracted my attention. The first, that the average new home now costs &amp;£100,000, was plastered everywhere. One hundred grand! </b><br><b>The effect of such soaring prices is clear for me to see. A good friend of mine, Natasha, is currently saving every last penny, living a life of almost total abstinence in order to put down a reasonable deposit on her first brand new home. Every week the prices seem to go higher and every week she tries harder and harder to save just a little bit more.
