Andrew Dabin

Andrew Dabin is the Technical Standards Manager within Standards, Research, and Technical Competency, at NHBC. Andrew leads a team of 7 specialists focussing on the NHBC Standards, he also takes lead for Internal services together with the associated supporting technical guidance as his specialist area.

Andrew has over 40 years of experience within the heating, plumbing and gas trades working across a wide range of roles including, service, training, technical and product within the manufacturing arena, and included supporting industry bodies (HHIC, ICOM, HPA, HWA) He has introduced, Gas boilers, unvented hot water cylinders, solar thermal, solar PV, biomass, and heat pumps. Together with assisting a fuel cell demonstration and hydrogen.
