The Roofing range includes roofing underlays, roofing ventilation and roofing accessories including membrane and ventilation products for use on cold and warm pitched roofs with in-roof solar PV panels. The range also features Venta-Line TLE, a flat, interlocking low-profile tile ventilator designed to fit with thin leading edge (TLE) roof tiles. Its Construction product portfolio includes construction and airtightness membranes, cavity trays, loft hatches and solutions for building ventilation. The latest product added to the range is Protect FrameFoil FR which is a new Class A2 fire rated, reflective AVCL, complete with a separate FR sealing tape. Designed to improve airtightness and thermal performance in walls, ceilings and floors, the product complements Glidevale Protect’s Class A2-s1, d0 flame retardant external flame wall breather membranes, FrameSafe FR and FrameSafe 5000 FR.

The company’s products are suited to both new build or refurbishment schemes and traditional build or offsite construction. They are designed and developed specifically for the UK and Irish market requirements under the ISO 9001 quality standard, with the company also accredited to the international health and safety standard ISO 45001, environmental management standard ISO 14001, and most recently the energy management system standard ISO 50001.

Glidevale Protect’s quality hallmarks, management systems and external product performance certification are complemented by the achievement of STA Assure Gold Level status to ensure further customer assurance.

The company is based in Sale, Greater Manchester and is a subsidiary of Building Product Design. Other members include commercial ventilation systems specialist Passivent and Kingfisher Louvres, a manufacturer of aluminium louvre systems.
